A fantastic addition to the island, Tapnell Farm Park literally has something for everyone. Opening on 29th June 2016, just in time for the Summer, the new Farm Park will be the perfect place for indoor and outdoor fun, connecting with and learning about animals, and enjoying delicious food and snacks with some of the best views on the Isle of Wight.
Originally one of the largest dairy farms on the island, the farm has now diversified and created lots of attractions for everyone to enjoy. Starting with the little ones there is a new indoor play area built in the old milking barn. With a three storey soft play area, a giant chalk board, imagination zone, bouldering wall, ride on tractor area and toddler area not to mention a café and seating area for the adults, it is the ideal place for your energetic youngsters to let off steam. If that isn’t enough outside there is an enormous jumping pillow which they describe as a cross between a bouncy castle and a trampoline, great fun for all ages.
In another barn there is more fun to be had for slightly older children! Two zip wires, the longest on the island, are rigged up for you to be able to race your friends, an indoor pedal go kart track and a straw hay bale pyramid with slides and tunnels for exploration make for an exciting time in anyone’s book.
If however you aren’t the type who likes activities there are loads of animals to discover, whether it be petting and cuddling the rabbits and guinea pigs or feeding the calves or even meeting Wallabies there is a great selection of farm animals and the more unusual types at the farm.
Also at the farm they have Activity adventures and clay pigeon shooting for adults and teenagers. Check out our voucher section for money off these activities.
