Steephill Cove Beach is one of the Isle of Wight’s hidden treasures and is popular with locals in the summer as it is often quiet even at the height of the holiday season.
You reach Steephill Cove via the coastal path from Ventnor Beach or through the Ventnor Botanical Gardens. The short walk from the cliff top is steep but there is a hand rail.
The beach has a number of good places to eat and have lunch or a snack. The beach is sometimes sandy and sometimes shingle depending on the tides and early season weather.
